Cross-chain PT bridge
How Principal Tokens move between Stellar and EVM networks.
The Spectra PT bridge transfers Principal Token exposure between Stellar and EVM networks. The original token is locked on its home network and a wrapped representation is minted on the destination network. Returning the position burns the wrapper and unlocks the original.
Four transfer paths

Bridge fees are charged on the source side. Each side also applies configured volume limits before completing a transfer.
Messaging and trust
Messenger adapters carry the cross-chain instruction. The bridge supports Axelar on both sides and includes an EVM LayerZero adapter; it does not include a Stellar LayerZero adapter.
Before bridging:
- Validate the destination address, including the full Stellar StrKey checksum when applicable.
- Check fees, output limits, gas requirements, supported networks, and current rate-limit capacity.
- Confirm the canonical bridge release and deployed addresses.
