Burn PT+YT

Withdraw tokenized assets before maturity by burning matching PT and YT.

Before maturity

Before maturity, matching Principal Tokens and Yield Tokens from the same issuance can be burned to withdraw the corresponding assets. This differs from selling PT or YT to a pool.

  1. Open Portfolio → PT and find the position.
  2. Choose Actions → Burn PT+YT when a matching YT balance is available.
  3. Enter an amount that both token balances can cover and choose an available output token.
  4. Review the output and minimum received, approve the required tokens, then confirm the withdrawal.

The output depends on the PT and interest-bearing-token rates. An ERC-4626 wrapper can add another conversion into its base token. Check the output symbol and precision in the confirmation.

After maturity, use Redeem Principal Tokens. Remaining accrued YT yield can be claimed separately; expired YT does not continue earning yield.
